Those who took part in the 4th annual Columbia Home Tour on June 2 helped raise $4,000 for Rebuilding Together Howard County. (The check presentation is pictured above.)

Rebuilding Together Howard County “provides free home repairs to low-income families in Howard County,” according to its website. The organization “has repaired and renovated over 500 homes in Howard County — at no cost to the homeowner. We are able to do this through a unique combination of corporate sponsorship, volunteer labor, discounted services, donations of building materials and bulk ordering discounts.”

The Columbia Home Tour is sponsored by the Villages of Columbia and Columbia Association’s (CA) Columbia Archives. It is a a self-guided tour of five distinct homes located throughout Columbia. Homes featured on this year’s tour were located in the villages of Dorsey’s Search, Hickory Ridge, Long Reach and Wilde Lake.
