CA’s New 6-Class Group Fitness Pass a Great Value for Active Adults 65 and Up


Active adults who are 65 years old and up can now take advantage of Columbia Association’s (CA) new 6-Class Pass, which gives them access to six of CA’s most popular group fitness classes at Columbia Athletic Club. For just $42, active adults — who do not need to be CA members — can start their new daily routine with six sessions that normally would cost up to $100 combined.

The class schedule through Aug. 31 is:

  • Sunday, 8:30 a.m., Express Zumba Gold® (studio 1)

  • Sunday, 8:30 a.m., Tai Chi (studio 2)

  • Monday, 10:40 a.m., BodyVive (studio 1)

  • Monday, 12:15 p.m., Joints in Motion (studio 1)

  • Monday, 5:30 p.m., BodyVive (studio 1)

  • Monday, 6:30 p.m., Aqua Arthritis (pool)

  • Tuesday, 10:35 a.m., Basic Aerobics (studio 1)

  • Wednesday, 6 p.m., BodyVive (studio 1)

  • Wednesday, 6:30 p.m., Aqua Arthritis (pool)

  • Thursday, 9:30 a.m., BodyVive (studio 1)

  • Thursday, 12:30 p.m., Aqua Arthritis Plus (pool)

  • Friday, 9:30 a.m., Aqua Arthritis Plus (pool)

The schedule will change as of Sept. 1. Updated schedules and class descriptions can be found at the Columbia Athletic Club front desk and at Check-in is required five minutes before all classes. Pre-registration for BodyVive and Tai Chi begins 25 hours in advance by calling Columbia Athletic Club’s front desk at 410-730-6744. No registration required for the other classes.

The 6-Class Pass is available for purchase at Columbia Athletic Club, which is located at 5435 Beaverkill Road in the village of Harper’s Choice. The card is valid 30 days from purchase date. Proof of age is required. Some fees and restrictions may apply. Columbia Athletic Club is closed from Aug. 19 through Aug. 25 for its annual shutdown.

After completing all six classes, active adults will receive a coupon for a discount on a membership or toward a fee-based group fitness class (coupons subject to change). They will also be entered for a chance to a win a complimentary golf foursome at Fairway Hills Golf Club.
