Young female golfers are invited to Fairway Hills Golf Club this Sunday, June 8, for a free golf clinic sponsored by the Ladies Professional Golf Association, the United States Golf Association, and The First Tee of Howard County.
The event is for girls between the ages of 7 and 16. The clinic will run from 1 to 3 p.m. at the golf club, which is located at 5100 Columbia Road in Columbia. It will feature Clara Huff, a former collegiate golfer who is now a sales representative for Callaway Golf. After the clinic, attendees will be able to use the driving range and chipping and putting areas with several First Tee coaches.
