Free Pool Party on June 22 at CA’s Annual KidsDay Event

KidsDay-2013

The biggest and best free pool party in town returns this month, when Columbia Association (CA) hosts its annual KidsDay.

This year’s event is being held on Saturday, June 22, from noon to 3 p.m. at Hopewell Mini-WaterPark, which is located at 9200 Rustling Leaf in East Columbia. All are welcome to attend a themed afternoon designed for the young and young at heart, with family-friendly fun that also includes a live disc jockey, a balloon sculptor, a moon bounce and much more.

Hopewell Mini-WaterPark features a giant 18-foot-high water slide; a unique splash pad with dumping buckets, squirting features and interactive spray equipment; a wading pool; an eight-lane swimming pool with a diving board; and shade structures. Food and beverages will also be available for purchase.

Is this for Columbia residents only? We are in HoCo but not Columbia. Thanks.

    Hi, Emily,

KidsDay is completely open to the public. Anyone is welcome.

    Thanks!

Hi. I’m sorry… I know you already sort of answered this, but I just wanted to clarify… is it also free pool entry for non-members on this day? Or is it just that the party doesn’t cost any extra? If I wanted to tell someone who lives outside the area, would they need to pay non-resident fees to enter?

    Hi, Martha,

Everyone is welcome to come for free. The pool fills up quickly, so you might want to come early!

    Thanks!
