Learn More About Proposed Plans for Symphony Woods at Jan. 31 Information Session

Residents interested in learning more about a proposed plan for Symphony Woods in Columbia are invited to an information session this Thursday, Jan. 31, from 7:30 to 9 p.m. The meeting, hosted by Columbia Association (CA), is being held at Slayton House, which is located at 10400 Cross Fox Lane in the Wilde Lake Village Center.

The session provides an opportunity for attendees to learn about the Inner Arbor Plan, a concept plan for enhancing the Symphony Woods neighborhood. The session will be set up with three information exchange stations, which allows attendees to get individual attention and answers to questions they have. Those stations will allow attendees to learn and ask about the Inner Arbor Plan, hear about a proposed nonprofit trust that would implement the plan and potential financing opportunities for the plan, and find out about the county government’s approval process in regards to the proposal.

The proposal most recently came before the CA Board of Directors at its Jan. 24 meeting, and will continue to be discussed at the CA Board’s meeting on Feb. 14. For more information on the proposed Inner Arbor Plan, see a presentation at bit.ly/symphonywoodsproposal.
