A Fun Day for Youth at Columbia Association’s Winter Camp-travaganza!

A new event hosted by Columbia Association’s (CA) Camps Department offers a fun day for youth, complete with pizza and snacks, games and crafts — and even an Ugly Sweater Contest.

Winter Camp-travaganza! will be held on Saturday, Dec. 1, and Saturday, Dec. 15, at the Youth and Teen Center @ The Barn, located at 5853 Robert Oliver Place in the Oakland Mills Village Center. Both events will run from 3 to 8 p.m. The events also will include icebreakers and the ability to make holiday gifts and cards for friends and family members.

Camp-travaganza! is for kids in 5th through 8th grades. The cost of the event is $45 per person. The minimum enrollment for the program is nine participants; otherwise it will be canceled. Register by calling Shelley Wilson at 410-715-5523.

Registration for CA’s 2013 camps is also coming soon, beginning on Jan. 22. An open hire event has been scheduled for Jan. 12. For more information on CA’s camps, go to ColumbiaCamps.org.
