The Columbia Association (CA) has partnered with the Howard County Health Department and a number of Howard County government departments to hold an emergency preparedness exercise. The county asked CA for assistance in finding a suitable location for the mass dispensing emergency preparedness exercise, which will take place on Wednesday, May 9. CA was able to provide the county with background information on various neighborhoods and locations around Columbia, and the county ultimately chose the Clemens Crossing neighborhood for the exercise. During the exercise, CA will be providing space in the Clemens Crossing Pool parking lot for the county to station its mobile command and communications vehicle.
In support of CA’s ongoing commitment to relational sustainability, CA also has helped to provide communications support to spread the word about the exercise to the community.
