The Columbia Association (CA) will host its sixth annual Dog Day Afternoon on Saturday, April 21, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Hopewell Park in Columbia. CA invites Columbia canines and their people to an afternoon of contests, treats, activities and lots of tail-wagging fun. Additional entertainment may include raffles, music, face painting, caricature artists and an arts & crafts station sponsored by Columbia Art Center. This free event will feature local businesses and organizations that focus on the health, happiness and well-being of our beloved, furry friends. A rain date has been set for Sunday, April 22. More information on the event is forthcoming.
